On this page
californiaticketguide is general information. Using it creates no attorney-client relationship, accuracy is not warranted, calculator results are estimates, and linked sites are outside our control.
What is this site for?
californiaticketguide explains how California traffic tickets work. It is for general information. By using the site you accept these terms.
Does using the site create an attorney-client relationship?
No. Reading a page, using the calculator or contacting us does not make anyone your lawyer, and nothing here is legal advice, as the disclaimer says. A relationship exists only when a lawyer agrees to represent you.
Is the information accurate?
We work from primary sources and show when each page was last reviewed, but we do not warrant that any page is complete, current or free of error. Fines, fees, deadlines and court procedures change. Check with the court named on your citation or with the DMV before you rely on a figure.
Are the calculator results exact?
No. The ticket cost calculator gives estimates built from published schedules. It leaves out late charges, prior convictions and other items that change a real bill. Your court sets the amount you owe.
What about links to other sites?
We link to courts, government sources and law firms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do. Listing a firm is not a ranking or an endorsement of results.
Can we change these terms?
Yes. We may update these terms, and the Last reviewed date shows when. Questions go through the contact page.
