# What does californiaticketguide do with your data?

> californiaticketguide uses cookieless analytics, counts taps on phone numbers and outbound clicks, keeps calculator inputs in your browser, has no accounts and does not sell data.

## What do we collect?

We use analytics that do not set cookies. The analytics record page views and a few actions: a tap on a phone number, and a click on a link that leaves the site. We count these actions so we can see which parts of the guide are used. The counts do not identify you.

## What happens to what you type into the calculator?

Nothing leaves your device. The [ticket cost calculator](https://californiaticketguide.com/ticket-cost-calculator/) runs in your browser, and the speed band, county and premium you enter stay there. We do not receive them, and we do not store them on a server.

## Do you have accounts?

No. There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no passwords and no profiles.

## Do you sell data?

No. We do not sell data.

## What happens when you leave the site?

Some pages link to [courts](https://californiaticketguide.com/traffic-courts/), government sites and [law firms](https://californiaticketguide.com/traffic-ticket-lawyers/). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. A link to a law firm may carry a source tag that tells the firm the visit came from this guide. It does not include anything you typed here.

## Can this policy change?

Yes. See also the [terms of use](https://californiaticketguide.com/terms/). If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the Last reviewed date. Questions go through the [contact page](https://californiaticketguide.com/contact/).
